Lynas Rare Earths  

Jagcor is the main civil contractor for Lynas’s $800m Kalgoorlie Processing Facility. Jagcor has worked closely with Lynas over the past 24 months, overcoming design and constructability issues to deliver a quality project and considerable cost savings for the client. Savings and synergies were also extracted by combining both the concrete supply and install packages under a single contract with Jagcor. Works are set to be completed in Q4 2023, with total concrete volumes of approximately 28,000 m³. This included 8,000m³ of concrete with Caltite additive. Jagcor was also able to supply other contractors on site with concrete and stabilised sand – optimising overall project efficiency, and also had on-site NATA accredited concrete and soil testing facilities. Major concrete structures completed by Jagcor included the 4000m³ Kiln and the 3000m³ Filter Building.
