Indigenous Engagement – A strategic priority
Indigenous engagement is a top priority for Jagcor’s management team. For each project, following consultation with all interested parties, Jagcor will adopt an appropriate (project specific) Aboriginal Engagement Strategy (AES).
pecially, Jagcor calls on the expertise of all local Indigenous communities and has also worked closely with external consultants on several projects (e.g. ECB Training Services – NT) to develop this plan. The aim of this collaborative approach is to achieve sustainable commercial employment outcomes for Indigenous people on designated projects. Jagcor and external providers will provide all training, logistics, Indigenous employment opportunities and mentoring support.
