Indigenous Engagement – A strategic priority
In June 2024, Jagcor formally partnered via a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Indigenous Personnel + Training (IPT). IPT will provide key input on aboriginal engagement elements that are required for each project, including, but not limited to, consultancy, mentoring and the direct provision of construction related services. Jagcor will in turn provide IPT business opportunities and help improve IPT workers’ skills, systems, plans, policies and procedures where applicable.
Jagcor is committed to working closely with IPT at all stages of project to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
About Indigenous Personnel + Training (IPT)
With unparalleled community connections and over 10 years’ experience in working and training for the mining and civil construction industry, directors Linden and Trent Brownley have established a Kalgoorlie-based 100 per cent Indigenous owned business with a focus on:
Indigenous Employment and Training – IPT’s goal is to maximize staff retention by delivering innovative and effective training, screening, and mentoring to prospective employees in a culturally understanding environment.
Project Management and Road Maintenance and Civil Works – IPT have proven project management skills in civil construction and mining, and the ability to consult and network with stakeholders across all levels of government, industry and community.
